Tim Winstanley

I started out on an MOD electronics apprenticeship, spent about fifteen years writing systems-level software, and in 2001 co-founded Resolve Information Technology. Twenty-five years on we still look after IT, data protection and cyber security for local firms.

But most people know me as the IT guy, and that's only half of it. The work I enjoy most is AI and software development. Working out which jobs in a business are worth automating, which aren't, and then actually building it. I still do that myself, mostly in Go these days, with AI tools doing a fair bit of the typing.
