Great Malvern · meeting since 2013
Somebody in this room has already solved it.
Eighteen owners and directors from across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, round one table, twice a month. Ask any of them and the answer comes from someone who has actually done it.
- 11.45 – 1.30
- First & third Thursday
- Two visits free
- Then £250 to join
- £40 a month
- Your food at both lunches
- One seat per trade
- Nobody chasing your referrals
- Free parking
- At the Mount Pleasant
What it's actually worth
Three things you can't buy from a supplier.
An introduction, when it's the right one
There's no referral quota to hit. When someone in the room knows the person you need, you get told. When nobody does, you don't get handed a made-up name so the numbers look busy.
A second opinion, before you commit
The most useful sentence at a Matrix lunch is usually “we tried that, here's what went wrong”. It's the cheapest due diligence you'll ever do.
People who'll say the unhelpful thing
Other owners with no stake in flattering you. If your plan has a hole in it, somebody will point at it over lunch rather than let you find it in six months.
Where and when
An hour and three quarters, twice a month.
First and third Thursday of every month at The Mount Pleasant Hotel in Great Malvern. The room opens at 11.45, lunch is at 12.00, and we're normally finished by 1.30. Parking at the hotel is free.
Independent, single seat and run by the members since 2013. No franchise above us, no scoring, no quota.
Written by people who do the work.

What "single seat" actually means
Matrix takes one business per category. Here is why that matters more than anything else about how a networking group is run.
